In 2015 I had the opportunity to create a farewell gift for one of Bungie's veteran weapon designers, Tom Doyle. This was one of the designs that he worked on and the physical model was Bungie's parting gift to him. The digital model for printing was made by Kirby Downey and printed on my Robo 3D FDM printer. The polished parts were molded and cast in urethane resin then painted and weathered. A Dead Orbit variant was created for myself as well.
