1:1 Malfeasance replica from Destiny 2. This project was a fun little practice in precision and layering. With so many delicate filigrees that really need to pop, I didn't want to simply apply a gold drybrush and be done. My solution was to apply a lustrous gold metallic ink, seal it with automotive clear coat, apply darker colors in thin layers, then knock down dark colors on raised edges to bring the gold back out. Following this with some light dry brushing touch ups and weathering helps give the final paint application a higher degree of realism and durability.
