Destiny 2- Xenophage

The Xenophage exotic heavy machine gun was fabricated over 3 weeks and revealed at GuardianCon 2019 as a teaser for Destiny 2: Shadowkeep. Numerous elements of the weapon had to be engineered to be structurally sound by incorporating pins, metal bars, and materials rated for higher amounts of stress. Tough resin was used for the joints and certain areas were backfilled with rigid polyfoam for durability and even weight distribution. The cover and magazine are functional, and the entire weapon separates into 5 parts for safer transport. Concept by Dima Goryainov.
