Fire Emblem Awakening- Falchion

Chrom and Lucina's Falchion from Fire Emblem Awakening. I pulled reference from several models online and created my own rendition in Zbrush with a few design changes that I believed would translate into a more realistic looking weapon. The sword parts were printed hollow on an SLA printer and assembled into three main components: the blade, handle, and pommel. Once the parts were body shopped, painted, and assembled, I backfilled the entire sword from tip to pommel with urethane resin to provide significantly more strength and durability. Final length of the Falchion is 45".
